Three years ago, ill-health forced Anthony Golding-Cook to hang up his hi-vis after 27 years as a member of BASICS Devon. Tony now has more time to indulge in another great passion of his; folk dance, music and song.
Tony still wants to support his former colleagues in their selfless 24/7 voluntary emergency work, supporting their incredible paramedics as they provide life-saving care to the critically ill and injured across Devon.
Tony has pledged to learn, record and upload a folk song, sea shanty or Morris tune every week for the next 100 weeks.
Ultimately his aim is to rise £1000, he said ' What I lack in musicianship, I hope to make up for in passion. So please join me and make this a challenge that counts as we work together to save local lives.' First song released already Being a Pirate - YouTube
