BASICS Devon, renowned for its selfless emergency responders who dedicate their lives to protecting and serving the community, is excited to announce the launch of Make a Will Week on Monday, 14 October 2024. This special initiative aims to provide peace of mind to the people of Devon by offering comprehensive will preparation services.
During Make a Will Week, BASICS Devon supporters and their community have the opportunity to gain support from solicitors should they wish to leave a gift to BASICS Devon volunteer emergency responders in their will. This initiative is made possible through collaboration with Slee Blackwell Solicitors and Kwil, providing access to specialist lawyers for anyone who wishes to leave a gift to BASICS Devon.
Steph Rodgers Partner at Slee Blackwell said ‘We are proud to support BASICS Devon during our BASICS Wills Week. One of our lawyers witnessed first-hand the life-saving impact of BASICS Devon when a client was critically injured in a car accident and received immediate roadside assistance from a BASICS doctor. In our beautiful but rural community, timely emergency care is crucial, and the dedicated work of BASICS Devon ensures that residents have a better chance of survival in critical situations. By supporting this charity, we are reaffirming our commitment to our local community and our dedication to helping those affected by life-changing events.’
