Make a Will Week
Protecting Those Who Protect Us

Our BASICS Devon emergency responders, selflessly dedicate their lives to protecting and serving their communities. We know how important it is that we continue to be there for you and your loved ones, so we wanted to give something back by offering you and your families peace of mind through comprehensive will preparation services, by offering a Make a Will Week.

Why Make a Will?

Drafting a will is crucial for ensuring your wishes are respected and your loved ones are provided for, whether in the event of an unexpected tragedy or a foreseeable passing. A will, in simple terms, is a legal document that outlines how you want your assets and belongings to be distributed after you pass away.

A will allows you to:

💚Provide for Your Family: Ensure your assets are distributed according to your wishes.
💚Appoint Guardians: Designate guardians for your minor children.
💚Minimize Stress: Reduce the emotional and financial burden on your loved ones during a difficult time.
💚Specify Funeral Wishes: Outline your preferences for funeral arrangements.

We recognize the personal nature of drafting a Will and understand that your family and loved ones are your top priority in this process. We also acknowledge the significance and complexity of this task, and we understand that you may feel the need to discuss it with someone.

We have created Make a Will Week as an opportunity for our supporters to gain support from local solicitors should they wish to leave our BASICS Devon volunteer emergency responders a gift in their will.
