Higgi is an Emergency Physician working at University Hospitals Plymouth, having first trained as a GP.  He spent many years in New Zealand before settling in the South West, where he feels a real sense of community. He has been volunteering with BASICS for about 15 years. He also flies with Cornwall Air Ambulance Trust as an Educational Support Physician, and holds a Diploma in Immediate Medical Care.
